Appointment line for Passports (Child passports applications MUST be made by post ONLY), Birth Registrations, Retention of RSA Citizenship and Exemption from Loss of RSA Citizenship is 09065 540 799.
(South African citizens who want to apply by POST are free to come to the office Monday to Friday between 3 PM & 4 PM to be assisted with the taking of fingerprints)

PLEASE NOTE
1. No flight arrangements have to be made until the processing officer has informed you of the likelihood of the permit being issued to you.
2. All payment must be in a form of money order or bank certified check.
3. All applicants must provide their e – mail addresses so that they can be informed of the status of their applications.
4. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
5. No calls should be made to the office until the application has passed stated turn around time.
6. All applications must be sent to the office by special delivery envelopes.

 

Medical treatment permit is issued to foreigners going to undergo medical treatment in South Africa.

Processing Fee: £35.00

Turn Around Time: 30 Working Days

SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS

  • 2 Passport photographs.
  • Prescribed Form.
  • A letter from the applicant's medical practitioner or medical institution, indicating the reasons/necessity for treatment, the period of treatment and particulars of the treatment plans in SA;
  • Details of the person or institution responsible for the medical expenses and hospital fees, if any. Should the applicant's medical scheme or employer not be liable for expenses incurred, proof of financial means or medical cover must be submitted.
  • Particulars of persons accompanying such permit holder.
  • Prepaid Self Addressed Special Delivery Envelop
